About one in two Dutch people will develop cancer at some point in their lives. And others experience it firsthand. In memory of those who have died prematurely from cancer and to inspire those still battling it, they want to approach the fight with positivity by approaching cancer differently.
Embrace Life wants to raise money for research into rare cancers. The first study they want to facilitate concerns the medicinal effects of hemp, or cannabis.
It's still unimaginable how versatile the cannabis plant is and how many scientific questions medicinal cannabis raises that remain unanswered due to a lack of scientific research. For this, they need hard, clinical data, and everyone knows that's not easy. It takes time and money.
